DO YOU WANT TO BECOME WISE?

Proverbs 13:20:  He that walketh with wise men shall be wise; but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.

Tell me who your friends are, and I will tell you who you are.  This is an old saying so as to determine what kind of a person somebody is.  If our friendship is with the wise, we shall also over a period of time become wise but if our companionship is with foolish people, we shall soon be destroyed in all the aspects of our life.

Hanging around with wise people helps us look at our own life from a different perspective.  We learn a lot about life and how to handle life’s issues be it material or spiritual.  We learn from their experience about everything under the sun and very soon we will be learning to handle our own issues with God’s help.  Never have anything to do with those people who do not have anything to do with God or with those who do not handle life in a wise manner.

Walk with wise people.  Share your thoughts with them and learn from them.  God will help us find such a company provided we are willing to learn to tame ourselves.  Never get side tracked with people’s opinions who have no respect for God.  Instead, look out for people who regard godliness and have cultivated the habit of  learning and listening to godly things thereby becoming wise in their handling of life’s issues.  Watch out for your company of friends today.  Be wise.  STAY BLESSED.  JESUS IS COMING BACK SOON.
